LHRH, salmon (also known as sGnRH or salmon Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone) is a decapeptide neurohormone with the specific amino acid sequence: Trp⁷,Leu⁸-LHRH (pGlu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Trp-Leu-Pro-Gly-NH₂). This variant differs from mammalian LHRH (GnRH) at positions 7 and 8, where Trp and Leu replace Leu and Arg.
